How Office Hours Works
Office Hours provides AI-powered office hours with True Ventures partners. You select a session type, choose partners, and have a structured conversation powered by AI. At the end, a summary memo is generated.
Your Conversations
Conversation messages are not permanently stored. During an active session, your messages exist only in your browser's memory. When you close the tab or refresh the page, the conversation is gone.
If you click "End & Generate Summary," your messages are sent to our AI to generate a memo. The memo is saved, but the raw conversation is not.
What We Store
- Session metadata — session type, selected partners, timestamps
- Session summaries — the AI-generated memo (if you end the session or it auto-completes)
- Your email — only if you voluntarily provide it on the summary page
- Analytics — anonymous page views, session counts, referrer data (no personal identifiers)
What We Don't Store
- Raw conversation transcripts
- IP addresses tied to conversations
- Cookies for tracking (we use no third-party trackers)
AI Processing
Conversations are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responses and session summaries. Messages are sent to Anthropic's API during the session. Anthropic's data retention policies apply to API usage — see Anthropic's privacy policy.
Auto-Completion
If you leave a session with 5+ messages without generating a summary, our system may automatically generate one after 15 minutes of inactivity. This uses messages that were stored during the session for this purpose only.
Sharing
Session summaries can be shared via a unique link. Shared summaries contain only the AI-generated memo — never the raw conversation. You control whether to share.
Admin Access
True Ventures team members with admin access can view session summaries and metadata. They cannot view raw conversation transcripts (these are not stored).
